Lisa Miller

Pilates Connection Colorado Springs is owned and operated by Lisa Miller who holds a Peak Pilates® Comprehensive Certification. She helps her clients achieve balance and control of the body creating positive body awareness. Her certification and experience include teaching Pilates on the mat and all of the equipment and apparatus.

Prior to establishing her Pilates instructor certification Lisa spent two years discovering and progressing her technique as a Pilates practitioner. She offers professional instruction and personal attention to her clients who wish to improve functional strength through trunk stabilization, proper breathing and increased flexibility. She is experienced in teaching clients who are new to Pilates as well as those who are ready for the advanced work.

After a successful career as a registered nurse Lisa devotes her time to Pilates training and teaching others the Classical Pilates method. She has a B.S. in nursing and has specialized in cardiology for 16 years. An outdoor enthusiast, Lisa enjoys rock climbing and hiking. "My professional and recreational endeavors are enhanced immensely by my Pilates practice as it continually develops my mind, body and spirit." Lisa's enthusiasm and passion have integrated Pilates as a fitness plan as well as a lifestyle.

Allison Roebker

Allison Roebker began her Pilates practice in 2005 while recovering from a debilitating back injury. She soon developed a passion for the work and a desire to share its benefits with others. In 2006, Allison completed training to teach mat and reformer classes by Pendleton Pilates in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 2007, she passed the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) exam, becoming a PMA Certified Teacher. Allison actively seeks continuing education in all things Pilates. In 2009 she participated in Alan Herdman's teacher training program in London and assisted during the Herdman workshops at the 2010 PMA Conference.

Allison is a practicing physical therapist at a local hospital. She is able to apply her knowledge of biomechanics and exercise physiology to the principles of Pilates allowing her to modify and develop exercise programs for clients of all ages and activity levels. She has always had an appreciation for the beauty, strength, and adaptability of the human body and feels Pilates is the perfect way to combine all of these elements together. She has found that her Pilates clients benefit greatly from their improved body awareness, coordination, and strength.

Allison moved to Colorado in June of 2010 and thrives on the people, climate, and lifestyle she finds in her newly adopted state.

Kate Um

Kate Um is a BASI, Body Arts and Sciences International, comprehensively certified Pilates Instructor. Kate received her certification in October 2009. While living in southeast Alabama, she managed and instructed a privately owned studio. She also instructed soldiers and family members on Ft. Rucker Army military post. Her experience ranges from soldiers returning from war to elderly members of the community with physical limitations. After relocating to Colorado Springs with her husband and two dogs, Kate has continued her private and mat class instruction. While living in the Springs she has a new found passion for running and other outdoor activities. With the completion of the Garden of the Gods 10 miler and the Marine Corp Marathon she plans to continue training and growing while living in Colorado
